North Beach Surf is proud to host the first Hathaway Classic, a full day of competitive surfing featuring groms, boys, girls, men’s open, and longboard divisions.

COMPETITOR INFO:

Competitor Check-In: 7:00 AM
Contest Start: 8:00 AM

All competitors should check in at the North Beach Surf contest area at Hathaway Ave Beach before their first heat. Please arrive early, get checked in, and be ready to surf well before your scheduled heat time.

Preliminary Rounds

8:00 AM – Open Men Round 1
9:00 AM – Open Longboard Round 1
10:00 AM – Girls U18 Round 1
10:30 AM – Groms U11 Round 1
11:15 AM – Boys 12–14 Round 1

12:30 PM – Open Longboard Semifinals
1:00 PM – Groms U11 Semifinals
1:30 PM – Boys 12–14 Semifinals
2:00 PM – Open Men Semifinals

FINALS

2:30 PM – Open Longboard Final
2:50 PM – Girls U18 Final
3:10 PM – Groms U11 Final
3:30 PM – Boys 12–14 Final
3:50 PM – Open Men Final

4:15 PM – Awards

All times are tentative and subject to change based on conditions and the pace of the event. Competitors should be checked in and ready well before their scheduled heat.

Competitors will be provided food from Grateful Deli and Purple Glaze Donuts.

Swelle Juice Co. will also be on site with fresh juices available for purchase throughout the day.
