We’re stoked to announce that in the summer of 2025, North Beach Surf is bringing our surf camp to one of New Jersey’s most iconic beaches—Hathaway Ave Beach in Deal, NJ! Whether you’re looking to ride your first wave or take your skills to the next level, we’ve got you covered.
North Beach Surf’s Kids Surf Camp is designed to create confident young surfers through personalized instruction, ocean safety education, and plenty of stoke!
Every camper receives hands-on, small-group coaching tailored to their age and ability. Our program goes beyond just surfing:
We don’t just teach surfing. We build surf safety, self-esteem, and ocean awareness.
We stick to a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio to ensure every camper gets personalized feedback and attention. No big crowds, no sitting on the beach waiting for a turn — just consistent, supportive surf time.

That’s why we offer flexible options:
Your kids will be taught by local surfers who grew up surfing and studying our coastlines waves. Our coaches — Paul Francisco, Max Hoyle, and Cole Conti — are First Aid and CPR certified and bring passion, patience, and pro-level skill to every session.
We provide surfboards and select wetsuit sizes. Campers should bring:
All sessions are held at Hathaway Avenue Beach in Deal, NJ — one of the area’s most consistent, beginner-friendly surf breaks.
